SMART Women Know the hurt & danger of adult bullying in the workplace

The fourth and final session of the Summer Series continues our discussion on bullying, this time diving into the topic of adult bullying in the workplace.

According to the Workplace Bullying Institute U.S. Workplace Bullying Survey, workplace bullying impacts 60.3 million people every year.  Even though we thought we left high school, we may still be dealing with the Office Mean Girl, who likes to form cliques and targets other women who threaten their work or social status.

Former Assistant Chief of Police for the SAPD, Geraldine Garcia, will return as the provocateur discussing what are the different kinds of people that are targeted; ways to tell if your boss is just being tough or a bully; and, the long-term effects  if bullying is ignored.  Geraldine will also provide tips on how to recover from bullying in the workplace.
